Clinical Offerings
-
A comprehensive evaluation of mental, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral functioning to diagnose conditions and develop a treatment plan for addressing concerns.
-
A collaborative, personalized, and confidential process between an individual and a trained mental health professional where emotional, psychological, behavioral, and interpersonal concerns are addressed. Through a trusting relationship and evidence-based techniques, barriers are confronted to facilitate change and improve quality of life.
-
A therapeutic approach facilitated by a trained mental health professional in a small group of individuals facing similar concerns or challenges in a safe, confidential setting. Group counseling differs from individual counseling or therapy in that the dynamics between members and the facilitator help to drive individual growth and change. It improves social functioning and personal development by providing a supportive environment for members to reduce isolation, share experiences with others experiencing similar difficulties, gain insight, develop new skills, practice communication, receive feedback, and learn new behaviors in a structured social context.
Research shows group therapy is as effective as individual therapy and, in some cases, more beneficial due to the shared experience.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, phobias, OCD, chronic pain, addictions, and other distressing life experiences. EMDR is a structured therapy that encourages the patient to focus briefly on a disturbing memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements), which is associated with a reduction in the vividness and emotion associated with the memories. -
A strengths-based approach that views neurodivergent conditions such as Autism, ADHD/ADD, and Dyslexia as natural variations of brain wiring or style, rather than deficits to be cured. It prioritizes autonomy and self-advocacy in which individuals are empowered to recognize and leverage strengths while navigating challenges and making adjustments with tailored support rather than conforming to neurotypical standards, fostering an environment where individuals are accepted for their authentic selves.

Reflective consultation is a relationship-based professional development practice providing a safe space to explore thoughts, feelings, actions, and reactions evoked in the course of working with children and their families. It is a collaborative process occurring one-on-one or in small groups with a trained professional, providing a designated opportunity to reflect on the ways in which one's beliefs, life experiences, values, and biases impact one's work. Outcomes boost self-awareness, reduce burnout and turnover, and enhance staff effectiveness. This approach is especially beneficial to child care providers, educators, social workers, home visitors, health care professionals, and early intervention specialists.

COSP is an 8-week evidence-based program designed to strengthen parent-child attachment for children aged 0-6 years. The Circle of Security is a visual map of interaction patterns that occur between children and their caregivers. It teaches caregivers to read children's emotional cues, balance supporting independence with offering comfort, and understand behavior as communication. The goal is to develop secure, resilient children by being "good enough" rather than perfect.
